Trick or treat smell my feet!!!! |

It was a great Halloween night. I passed out all 210 candies that we had purchased for the event. Then, I passed out 20 or so small chips bags that the family
buys once in a while for a backup plan (after the 7pm deadline as well but I don't like to see kids go without). We purchased 48 Snickers, 36 Reese's
Peanut Cups, 36 Kit Kats (the grandson's favorite), 30 combo pack consisting of Baby Ruth, Butterfingers, and Nestle Crunch plus 24 Fruit snacks and 36
Cheese Its. The Fruit snacks and Cheese Its were purchased for the first time to be "handed out" (I let the kids choose what they want LOL). The
Cheese Its weren't too popular with the kids in my sub so it is probably doubtful that the family will buy them to hand out next year. As previously
mentioned I have let the children choose what they want for decades now. I like to push the buttons on two of our displays that either sing or has sayings
("my beautiful candy" is one).

If the light is on, the house is fair game I say.
Searn, I hear you gave out B-dub, blazing wings and that you can hear all the kids crying in your neighborhood. |

I did buy the Fruit Snacks and Cheese Its for the first time since some people were complaining that I didn't have peanut free chocolates (half of my candy
bars were peanut free according to the internet before). So I tried to make it a tad different this year to try to please some parents.
Searn is right that I didn't have deadlines when I grew up. However, there are deadlines in Adrian even nowadays since I read an article on the county times. I'm open from 5:45 - 7:15 when the time is suppose to be 6 - 7 since I do have "extended hours". In fact, after I ran out of candy at 7pm I went with the chip back up plan until 7:15.

We got slammed. Saw probably 300 kids. I was down to pop tarts and cans of tuna fish when I finally even had to break into my airline liquor bottle collection!
