I've run into this problem several times in the past. It occurs when I am posting a response (or new topic) and accidentally navigate away from the site. You cannot use the back button on the browser to recover the lost post. I just spent over two hours writing a preview of Brother Rice for next season. Normally I would have done this on the prepseer.com web site, but I was reading a thread in the Detroit CHSL section of your site and was asked to comment on Rice, so I started doing the preview. As always, I got into more detail than was probably necessary, but I had a lot to say about next year and just kept typing. It was quite lengthy and took a lot of time to create. Just before I was about to post it, a web page from my bookmarked favorites suddenly appeared. When I hit the back button, I was back to your site, but with the entire post I had created gone. No way to retrieve it. Had this happened on prepseer.com I could have retrieved the post.
I've been thinking that I've been spending too much time online and I've been trying to cut back. This will be the impetus for moving on. I will no longer be creating detailed posts for your site. I'm not even sure I'm going to continue my site. I might pop in from time to time, but unless I forget what just happened, I doubt that I will be devoting a lot of time when the risk of losing the post before it gets posted is so great.
I don't know if there's anything you can do to fix this. I realize it's probably out of your control. Ironically, as I was typing this post about the glitch, it happened again. I think I know how it happened. My cursor happened to be over in my bookmark section and my finger slipped and hit the wrong button, which activitated the web page from the favorites.
Oh. well, it was a pretty good preview and it's gone forever. Time will tell whether I'll do it again. If I do it won't be on this Yuku site.
